About the service

We provide a combination of practical and emotional support to help people live independently and develop useful life skills.

In 2024/25, we gave phone advice to 268 professionals and clients.

We saw 534 people at our drop-in services. Find us in the following locations:

Keynsham

Keynsham Library, Civic Centre, Market Walk

Monday, 9.30am-4.30pm

Midsomer Norton

The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton

Tuesday, 9.30am-4.30pm

(All of our drop-ins close for lunch between 12.30pm-1.30pm)

How we help

The support Reach offers includes advice on housing, benefits, and managing debts; we can also refer clients to other specialist agencies.

Our free, independent and confidential service can help people to:

  • Find suitable housing
  • Maintain their current housing
  • Attend housing meetings with their provider
  • Attend court proceedings in relation to housing
  • Understand their housing rights and responsibilities
  • Challenge evictions and Section 21 notices
  • Apply for Supported Housing
  • Deal with rent or mortgage arrears
  • Budget effectively and maximise their income
  • Set up a new home
  • Access employment, training and educational courses or services

We do not provide Out of Hours or emergency support. If you need help in an emergency or outside of our working hours (9am-5pm Monday to Friday), visit our Out of hours help page.
