Our Bristol Independent Living Service (BILS) provides self-contained housing for people who are homeless or in unsuitable accommodation.
The scheme gives people who have been homeless the chance to regain their independence in a safe, supportive environment for up to two years. DHI staff work with tenants to improve their financial situation, health and wellbeing so they are ready to move into fully independent housing.
Properties within the scheme are located across Bristol, all with good access to local amenities.
BILS is run in partnership with Bristol City Council and social impact investment company, Resonance.
Referrals into the service are via Bristol City Council’s Housing Support Register (HSR)
