Charity of the Year Nomination for DHI

The Bath Life Awards celebrate the best in Bath, and DHI are delighted to be a finalist in the Charity category.

Rosie Phillips, DHI Chief Executive, said: "It's a real honour to have been nominated for a second year for the Bath Life Awards. In 2017, DHI did so much that all of the staff and clients can be proud of.

"One of the highlights was the 10th anniversary of our Reach Out conference for the family members and carers of people with a substance misuse issue. It is a unique event in the region, and just keeps growing each year. We also celebrated the fifth birthday of our social enterprise lettings agency, Home Turf Lettings (HTL), last year. HTL has housed over 200 people in that time, including a number of Syrian refugees.

"We've delivered this and more in the face of growing demand for our services and increasing financial pressure, because we are never afraid to do things differently."

The Bath Life Awards Night is on March 1st.
